LanternCard Club

Lantern Card Club — Demonstration

We buy your cards — what happens to them

Bring the lot and we will go through it with you, on the counter, rather than behind a curtain. Do not clean anything first — every year somebody takes a wipe to a good card on the way to the shop and turns it into a damaged one.

Buylist

We buy your cards

Tell us what you have and a human gets back to you. The workflow can organise candidates and photographs; it cannot authenticate, grade, value or make an offer — a person does that.

Got cards to sell?

Tell us what you have and the shop will get back to you. Whole collections, single cards, sealed product — all considered.

What happens to what you send

DEMO-BUY-014

Gardevoir ex · Paldean Fates · 233/091

candidate matched; physical review incomplete

Next: Second reviewer. Confirm printing, language and finish against the physical card; no offer exists yet.

DEMO-BUY-015

Pikachu · Scarlet & Violet—151 · 025/165

front/back images received; identity unconfirmed

Next: Intake operator. Inspect the physical card and record evidence before any condition label is accepted.

Proof before confidence

One card. Three separate authorities.

A useful match narrows the printing; it does not smuggle in physical or commercial claims.

01

Catalogue candidate

Game · set · collector number · language · finish

Community data or a labelled fixture may suggest identity.

02

Physical evidence

Front · back · edge · surface · provenance

A trained operator examines the actual item; software does not authenticate or grade it.

03

Shop decision

Owned · reserved · buylist intake · unavailable

Only the shop's own record can state availability or a next action.

Source now: Deterministic Neubor fixture — no external API request. Checked 2026-07-16. The independent community catalogue TCGdex may supply catalogue candidates and images. The market check is a separate licensed port (Scrydex): a dated USD guide observation converted to GBP through a published ECB reference rate, shown only when a server-only key and an attested external-display right are both configured. No price is ever guessed, and a GBP figure never appears without the rate, its date and its source.

Every enabled screen here runs on the real shared platform against this demo's own database. Some capabilities are deliberately held back, and this is exactly which.

  • DemonstrationDecision signalsDecision signals are derived from the synthetic release, buylist and event fixtures; they are not observations from a real shop.
